Brandi & Luke

We have just added some new pictures and I wanted to say a little about them to give some kind of context. We had some familiar faces in our neck of the woods for the Labor Day Weekend! Mark and Garin came up and I was able to successfully convince Jessica Sanders and her husband Dustin to hitch a ride with them. We had a really good time that weekend and it was also a first for me… I manned a single man kayak down the river.. TWICE! I won’t say that there was a little freaking out at first but it didn’t take me long to take the white water with “authority” ( as Luke says ).

The pictures from Luke’s graduation are also up. I tell you what the year of the “Adaptive Mitigation of Direct-Path And Multi-path Interference In Passive Radar” Thesis was long and trying but “WE” pulled through and that diploma means more than you know! Luke we are all very proud of you!!! We were also very blessed to have most of our family make it to his graduation celebration.

Luke and my first year anniversary pictures are also up. There aren’t many because the “don’t be a tourist” in me could not ask the waitress to take a picture of us. Monday, August 25, 2008 was the best day ever. Luke made me the most beautiful paper bouquet of roses and I made him a paper puzzle of the most meaningful things that have brought us this far. That evening his surprised me with a dinner reservation at Ruth’s Chris and a filet that melted in my mouth!
